Lab 7 - Linking To SQL*Server and DSNs

The purpose of this lab is to explore the capabilities of  access to connect to SQL*Server DSNs

  1. Create a DSN for the class shop database on the SQL Server.
    IP Address: 130.86.76.106
    Username: Class
    Password: Class
    (Please see the note on the database page.)
  2. Use the DSN to create a MDB file that links to the server.
  3. The SHOP database contains one table not in the schema. What is its name? How many rows are in it? What is it for?

This lab is worth 15 points and due on October 23rd.  When you have completed the lab, send an email to Chris Allen indicating you are done and providing the external URL to your pages.
